Big Park Trail

Open: All Seasons.

Length: 1 mile (1.6 kilometers). Note: This is an offshoot loop from the Courthouse Butte Loop Trail.

Rating: Fairly Easy.

Hiking Time: Under an hour on foot.

Elevation Change: 50 Feet (15 Meters).

GPS: N 34° 47' 29.2914" W -111° 45' 41.94" (South Bell Rock Pathway Trailhead).

Mountain Bike: Yes.

Horseback: No.

Dogs Allowed: Yes, with a leash.

Wilderness Area: No.

Access: From the "Y" (where 89A and 179 meet), go south on the 179 for about 3.5 miles (5.6 kilometers) and turn into the parking area on the east side of the road (left, coming from the north). This is at mile post 309.8.

From the South Bell Rock Pathway parking area, take the trail to the east. Within a short distance, you'll see the Big Park Trail sign where the loop begins.

Red Rock Pass: Required.

Self-Serve Red Rock Pass Kiosk: Yes (Bell Rock Pathway Parking Lot).
