Length: 0.5 mile (0.8 kilometer) One Way; 1 mile (1.6 kilometers) Round Trip.

Rating: Very Easy

Hiking Time: Under an hour, round trip.

Elevation Change: 50 Feet (15 meters)

GPS: N 34° 53' 14.5314", W -111° 43' 53.652" (Start at Grasshopper Point).

Mountain Bike: Yes.

Horseback: No.

Pets: No.

Fishing: Yes.

Swimming: Yes.

Wilderness Area: No.

Access: Approximately 2 miles north of Sedona. About 28 miles south of Flagstaff. Look for milepost 376.7, and find the Grasshopper Point Recreation Area on the EAST side of State Route 89A. From the south, turn right. From the north, turn left.

Find the north side of the parking lot and start on the unmarked trail. Walk a short distance to see the trailhead sign, marked, "Allen's Bend #111."

Red Rock Pass: Required. WEEKLY and GRAND ANNUAL passes are accepted here, and holders can use this area for no additional fee.

Daily and Basic Annual pass holders must pay an additional parking fee at this State Park area. Currently $8/vehicle and $2/walk-in/bike.

America The Beautiful and Golden Age/Access Pass holders receive a 50% discount.
